Relocation Management How Do I Get Out Of The Relocation Contract I Signed?

How do I get out of the relocation contract I signed? - relocation management

The company where I work, I moved to Illinois for 16 months. In return, I signed a contract that if I would pay to move to the left within 2 years. In addition, all funds within 1 months from the date of my departure have to be repaid. I made a big mistake and not read the fine print. It turned out that I, if I have to pay to leave before the deadline of two years. This book is very dense and it is the starting point for me physically ill. We can not afford to pay the money because the salary Comensurate with the cost of living and lost a lot of debt just trying to keep a roof over their heads and gas in the car. I went to HR about my concerns, which only caused more friction between me and management. I feel trapped. Is there a way out of the contract?

The contract is just that .. Contract .... They have their share of the obligation is not, otherwise you'll pay. However regrettable it may be.

I had the same problem .. Forbidden to leave, a company not happy with the signing of a move.

You have to hold out for 8 months ... Only in this way to think .. 4 months, is located halfway .. Then 2 months later. You only have 2 months to shoot.

If you are very experienced and demand "that I just go on and on finding a new job ... you can now in a position, a company that you want so badly that you are negotiating to find a" signing bonus "that the shift to pay the above costs. Be honest with your potential new employer and tell them you are on a contract. Explain that you want to join, but could not not unless they could help this burden.

If nothing else .. You can also find it harder to Find work than I thought .. This will also enjoy from your current job.

Otherwise, Stick It Out .. is only 8 months ... that the time flew.

I know that it is expensive, that Illinois is in Chicago .. I used to work there too, and was under a similar contract that I want to go ...

Best of luck.

That sounds suspicious to me ... Usually when a company starts a transfer can make it, you pay the marks left on his post. Prior to the payment of $ 1,500 for a lawyer to seek the Department of Labor's website and try to find out more about documnetation signed. Search for key words.
I crossed the country with my company, but I applied and was going to be excited. The signing of similar form has no problem for me, but I had lasted a year.

In addition, the return of "full" or is it assessed? I think to split it so that when a few months ago I still have 2/24ths of the sum are left. But I think here.

It would also be able to transfer within the company at the same place? I did it, and remain in the same place I had nothing to pay. Any changes to help if you are unhappy!

Additionally, you can try to get some natural medicines for the next eight months. Even if you leave, you still have to pay? It would be terrible.

Unfortunately, since the signing of the contract legally, you can go .... Sympathy could be at work ....

All I can think of is to take the contract to the lawyer and see what he says. Of course. It is not wise to sign a contract without consulting a lawyer. This costs a few dollars more.

If you sign a contract and the transfer of business from one location to another, I would like to consider the invalidity of the contract, costs will increase, so their form does not pay the same wage they can provide, I would not worry about it if you to see a lawyer,
